Tswelopele Secondary Library Handover Ceremony
To embrace one of our Values “Community” which means Ubuntu which is a Zulu saying translated as “I am because we are”, SegenSolar made a generous donation and sponsored a Mobile Library for a school in dire need in Tembisa, Tswelopele Secondary School. SegenSolar had the honour of having the unveiling ceremony on the 22nd of July Mobile Library Handover Ceremony at Tswelopele Senior Secondary School in Tembisa. This project was produced by AMOR South Africa and sponsored by SegenSolar (Pty) Ltd. It was an auspicious occasion as the learners of Tswelopele Secondary and School Management were overjoyed by this gracious donation made by SegenSolar.
Mrs. Rebecca Digale, principal of Tswelopele Secondary School addressed the audience and spoke of their gratitude for this project. The school had initially initiated a campaign called Stop Everything and Read. The last lesson of the day was dedicated to this campaign and beneficial to learners that needed basic skills. This library would be immensely helpful as the school needed this facility and resources.
