The Solar Show — the most highly anticipated PV event of the year — is fast approaching!
Spread over two action-packed days on the 25th and 26th of April, the show will be held at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg and bring together hundreds of exhibitors and thousands of attendees from across the South African PV sector and beyond to network and discuss the latest products and developments in the industry.
The event offers the chance to learn from top speakers, chat with industry-leading PV brands and watch exclusive presentations on new products and technologies. With so many like-minded professionals under one roof, it is a must-attend for PV installers and customers from around the world.

Rubbing shoulders with leading PV professionals
Several of the trusted manufacturers we stock on the portal have been known to make an appearance at The Solar Show — and this year will be no different.

Preparing for the event at the Pre-Solar-Show Workshop
This year’s Pre-Solar-Show Workshop is brought to you by our headline sponsor FoxESS and supporting sponsors JA Solar and KD Solar. As always, this training event is available to installers and will be led by the SegenSolar team.
Held on 24 April at the Raddison Blue Hotel in Sandton, this annual event allows attendees to meet with fellow installers before The Solar Show, grow their solar networks and engage with market-leading manufacturers.
Plus, in a session led by Nicolaas Faure Van Schalkwyk, an energy research engineer of solar PV training at SUNCybernetics Pty Ltd (The Solar Training Centre), installers will receive expert advice on the latest PV standards.
Nicolaas has trained and supported hundreds of installers nationwide, specialising in national solar power regulations — including PV sizing limitations for grid-connected PV systems, which he will discuss on the day.
